This dentist removed my wisdom teeth and dislocated the left meniscus anteriorly, which has resulted in TMJ. After corrective surgery this problem still has not been fixed and probably never will be. Unfortunately, this sort of complication is covered by the typical dentist's patient waiver, so I have no recourse for my problem. I deeply regret ever being treated by this dentist, as he was not sympathetic to my complication after I brought it to his attention.

Terrible bedside manner. He gripes at his assistants right in front of his customers making for an awkward situation. Would NOT recommend!

Wonderful experience. Dr. Lapp and her staff are a great find. New to the area, I was very nervous about finding a new dentist. I presented her, right off the bat, with the task of finishing crown work started by another Dr. in another state. My last dentist warned me that I may have some issues with that, but Dr Lapp accepted the challenge and finished the job quickly, gently and skillfully.

I warn anyone and everyone who is planning on getting an appointmentwith her. She is GARBAGE!!! Her office is garbage, her staff is garbage and so is her friggin dental school degree. She doesn't explain or educate her patients about treatments, options or even prevention. The only thing she wants to know is if you can pay $CASH$. She has no tact or class in how to treat her patients, please do not go to this dentist. THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! She's a money grubbing idiot! Hope herbusiness fail

Could not believe how unprofessional Laura Heisch is while conducting an exam. Someone should suggest she wash her hair and take a shower and possibly see a dentist about her bad breath. Did she really go to dental school? She was very late for our appointment and then acted like it was my fault. I will certainly tell everyone I know not to go to her.

Choose a Health Insurance Plan that covers your Doctor

This one sounds so obvious and yet most people miss it. If you are looking to buy health insurance, you fall into one of two situations:

Case 1:  You do not have a family doctor or specialist. Alternatively, even if you have one, you are not particularly attached to seeing that doctor. If this is true, then you can safely ignore the rest of this post.

Case 2:  You do have a family doctor and would very much like to continue seeing that doctor. If you fall into this category, then remember this – not all doctors accept every plan. If you buy a health insurance plan and then find out later that it does not cover your doctor, you could lose hundreds of dollars in out-of-network costs each year.

So, if you do have a family doctor and would like to keep him or her – please do ask your health insurance counselor to choose a plan that covers that doctor!
