You arent alone. Im am a 20 year old who he refuses to see until he drug tests me. If he wants to work with druggies, thats fine but he has no right to assume a college kid doing something positive with his life is on drugs. He even told me that I can get high off my adderal by sniffing it, and that I most likely do that because Im young. What the hell kind of doctor tells his patient that? Mad man Meyers should be put in the nut house. He is the most unprofessional doctor in the state of NH!

continuation of previous entry that had yet to be diagnosed. it is in my opinion that he has since forgot and lost his prior training enough to mis-diagnose a person who was part of his extended family. He has lost his way as a true physician

Dr. Meyer is a caring and is comitted to the care and well being of his patients. I trust in his judgement and feel well cared for. His office staff is also very caring and always attentive to the patients needs. I would not hesitate to recommend this practice to others.

I have been seeing Herb for over a year. His methods ARE different. But they work for me and my family. He doesn't PUSH his way. You are all free to go elsewhere and recieve help from methods that work for you. I doubt any one of you could find another dr willing to give you there cell# to call ANYTIME you feel you need to talk to them. If u give him100%thats what youll get back from him. I hope this helps :-)

This doctor is a complete lunatic in his practices. I intend on filing a report with the Board of Medicine regarding his ethical practices in prescribing.

Dr. Meyer was once a skilled physician. He was current with all conditions and treatments. He was once kind. He once practiced medicine with a rational mindset. He should be pitied.

Dr Meyer is the most unethical doctor I have met. He openly asks for cash for pain medication while prescribing suboxone to the same patients. I have petitioned the Medical Board to remove his license.

This doctor offers painkillers to patients in exchange for cash. He is totally against the grain when it comes to medical practice, instead substituting his own beliefs.

We had this physician for a short while, but my children did not feel comfortable with him. I understand that people have their own beliefs but they seriously should not push their beliefs so much on others.

Choose a Health Insurance Plan that covers your Doctor

This one sounds so obvious and yet most people miss it. If you are looking to buy health insurance, you fall into one of two situations:

Case 1:  You do not have a family doctor or specialist. Alternatively, even if you have one, you are not particularly attached to seeing that doctor. If this is true, then you can safely ignore the rest of this post.

Case 2:  You do have a family doctor and would very much like to continue seeing that doctor. If you fall into this category, then remember this – not all doctors accept every plan. If you buy a health insurance plan and then find out later that it does not cover your doctor, you could lose hundreds of dollars in out-of-network costs each year.

So, if you do have a family doctor and would like to keep him or her – please do ask your health insurance counselor to choose a plan that covers that doctor!
